Terracotta high-waisted pleated skirt – Size 36 – Late 80s

A lovely vintage Verdosa skirt from the late 80s, in a warm terracotta hue. Its high-waisted, slightly flared cut is structured by wide front pleats that add volume while maintaining an elegant silhouette.

With its length just above the knee and its pockets, it has that little retro vibe that is very easy to wear today: with a blouse, a fine knit, or simply a tank top and ankle boots as shown here.

I have a soft spot for its color. It’s almost enough to bring all the charm to an outfit, and its pleats give it lovely movement when worn. Typically the kind of skirt that I can see working just as well with boots in the fall as with loafers in the spring.
