A lovely vintage white shirt with a romantic charm, looking as if it came straight out of another era. With its delicate eyelet embroidery, small pin-tucked pleats, and lace finishes, it bears witness to fine craftsmanship and a true attention to detail.

Its delicately worked collar, long slightly puffed sleeves, and scalloped edges give it a soft and feminine look. One also notes small pearlescent buttons as well as a tone-on-tone embroidered monogram "AV," likely the initials of its former owner.

All these details evoke antique clothing from the early 20th century. Craftsmanship dating from the first half of the 20th century is plausible, although it is impossible to confirm its exact era.

A word from Ginette

These are exactly the pieces that make me love second-hand. This little "AV" monogram touches me particularly… Who was this woman? On what occasion did she wear this blouse? We will probably never know, but I love imagining the stories it could tell us. A little treasure from the past just waiting to continue its own.
